With years of experience teaching sewing to children and adults, Bunmi creates an environment where every child feels welcome, capable and proud of what they create. Parties at The Sewing Studio are calm, structured and genuinely fun. The studio is a dedicated creative space in Borehamwood with everything needed for a safe, hands-on experience — from child-friendly sewing machines to a carefully curated fabric library.

Our parties are designed for children aged 7 to 14. Projects are adapted to the age group so younger children have a simpler guided project while older children get more creative freedom.
Not at all. Every session starts with a quick introduction to the sewing machine and Bunmi guides each child through every step. Complete beginners always leave with a finished project they’re proud of.
Absolutely. Parents are welcome to stay, take photos and enjoy the refreshments area. Some parents prefer to drop off and return — either works perfectly.
Yes, there is free street parking available nearby and a public car park within a short walk of the studio. Full directions are shared in the booking confirmation.
We ask about allergies and dietary needs during the booking process. If you are bringing your own refreshments we are happy to accommodate any arrangement that works for your group.
Simply complete the enquiry form and we will check availability for your preferred date. A 50% deposit secures your booking with the balance due one week before the party.
Cancellations made more than 14 days before the party receive a full deposit refund. Within 14 days the deposit is non-refundable but we are happy to reschedule subject to availability.
